Painful red blotches on underarms and belly!

My dog (west and east Siberian Laika cross) Dobi has had problematic skin for a while now. He is just over a year old. He is very energetic and active and not overweight or anything. He has dry skin and coat but hemp oil helps with that (15-30ml) a day. He is fed dry kibble which main constituents are salmon as the protein and potato apple and corn as the carb. He is very happy dog overall but his dry skin and these red blotches that appear I believe cause him pain. The blotches appear on his groin/belly area and also underarms as well as paws to some extent. He licks/itches these constantly so we try to keep a cone on his head to stop that a bit, be he goes a bit crazy with the cone lol. Also his ears get very red and itch quite frequently (which makes me think there is some kind of yeast problem). I'm really not sure what could be casuing these horrible red blotches! Had anyone had any experiences with their dogs and know what this is? Thanks

Looks pretty severe I'd head to a vet.

It looks a bit like either ringworm or reaction to insect/arachnid, only a vet would be able to diagnose and treat though. Especially if it's ringworm.

I have a dog who has had what looks just like that, we were struggling for a year trying new meds, injections, alllergy tests etc...turned out she had a reoccuring staph infection. Defineitly go to the vet have them check it out, do a skin scraping. What finally worked for my dog is a drug called Apequl (sp?) it is a miracle and he skin cleared up and as long as she gets one a day she is fine now. Talk to your Vet.
