Hello I have a american staffordshire terrier mix and a chihuahua, my other dog (border collie mixed with corgie) who has passed away not due to this subject but due to age also had this disease/problem she did get better some how miraculously prior to passing. The issue all began when i had moved from my old place to my current place which now has been about 4 years and ever since shes lost patch by patch of hair im assuming by chewing and itching. Iā€™️ve tried countless of things for her taken her to several different vets to tell me that to try with her eating habits, never did i had a problem feeding her anything back at the other place having this problem so to think that it happened all of a sudden leaves me to think that its not a food related subject. Also each time they found no fleas. Maybe someone who has had the same problem or currently is having this problem can share some tips or sum sum! In need its hard to see specially when shes happy and I could tell other then dealing with the itching, licking and chewing. Also the chihuahua doesn’t suffer from this issue.

Aww, poor girl. That has to be taking a toll on her. Have you tried going to a vet dermatologist? There are specialists you can take your dog to just like people go to specialists.
