Angry Newly adopted dog wont eat and is vomitting and has diarrhea

Hello! I have recently saved Mr Jin, a lab aust cattle dog mix from the shelter. He has been here for almost 2 days now and hasnt eaten. He still drinks water but he is vomiting yellow/green bile and has diarrhea. He is also very shy. I have given him his space and made sure he has plenty of water. Just wondering if their was anything I could do before taking him to the Vet.

I agree, definitely want to see a vet to make sure everything is ok. He could be just adjusting but not eating could be bad.

Yep, visit to the Vet is in order here. Better to be safe, and if there is a medical problem, to get treatment going early rather then later.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I have a vet visit scheduled for tomorrow at 10:30 in the morning. When I went to the shelter he was the only one not making any noise and he looked sad. He is opening up slowly and does well on walks. I will update y’all come
Tomorrow morning. My other lab/chow mix is helping as well. He lays with him during the night time

Glad you are getting him to the vet. It sounds like it could be Parvo. My friend adopted a dog at the shelter and when they got him home he had some diarrhea and vomited, he was also listless and not interested in food. A vet check showed that he had Parvo, but luckily a mild case of it and he recovered completely from it.

I hope that your new boy is alright and hope that whatever is going on is nothing serious!
