Unhappy Neuter incision healing normally???

Thsi is my first dog. just not sure what's normal, but my gut is telling me this isnt? i'm a total novice, so just wanted some other opinions before I take any big action...

disclaimer - hard to get a good picture. the incision isn't actually this close to the scrotum but the way my dog was laying, gravity took over. i'm mostly worried about the apparent scabbing and the redness in his scrotum on one side. He has been acting totally normal and eating normally, so part of me thinks it's just a little rough healing, but I don't know enough about this to be sure.

incision seems OK. Scrotum is a bit bruised which is common and not a problem unless it gets enormous.
