The last time she ate was yesterday morning at 9:30am. She had white rice, boiled chicken, and pumpkin and she ate it all. The only thing she will even touch right now is peanut butter. I even tried mixing in some rice but she turns up her nose. It seems like this came on suddenly but not sure why. She hasn't been stressed and her routine hasn't changed at all. I'm honestly surprised the vet didn't even mention colitis at all. If I do go back Monday I'm going to mention it and request a specialist. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I feel like I'm at my wit's end and I just want some peace of mind. Everyone I call just wants me to come in and spend more money. She gets super stressed at the vet so twice in 2 days probably made her feel more sick. I usually feed her boiled chicken on top of kibble when she's healthy and she seems like she's been liking that for a long time now. She is very sensitive though and I'm sure she has many food allergies. This is just getting to me seeing her miserable like this. She tries to do her normal things but can't
I do have yogurt and baby food but she won't touch that either. The good thing is she is drinking water regularly and she didn't have a fever either time at the vet. I just wonder if she got into something bad or ate something that was undercooked and it caused bad bacteria to form. She's an inside dog but she roots around constantly looking for crumbs and she goes outside and to the park.
