Need advice about my puppy who fell.

Hello everyone so about two hours ago my brother dropped our puppy on the kitchen floor. Shes around 3 months old
and I thinks she's a toy poodle. She fell about four and a half feet and landed on her side. She's able to walk and it doesn't look like she has a limp. My concern is that she would usually run from place to place but now she's been walking. Should we take her to a vet when our parents come home from work or is she fine.

Exclamation Vet, vet, vet...

with a pup that young, there can be anything from internal injuries to a joint or long-bone issue such as a crack at the epiphysis, & the sooner she's seen, the BETTER.

I would not wait overnite - go ASAP. Better to be sure there's nothing wrong, & quickly, vs wait & have her crash, or have a correctable problem become un-fixable.

It happened around noon [local] - it's now 4-pm [local]. // Are the parents home? - Did U tell them about it?

Thank you for responding. We live I california so it's only 1pm right now. I called my mom and told her and she said to keep a eye on her for limping. I'll call her back and tell her about the chance for internal damage. She won't be back from work until 5 or 6 though.

Unhappy

All fingers, toes, & paws crossed, she's OK - but after such a relatively high fall, for such a young pup of a small breed, if she were mine,
i would DEFINITELY want my vet to examine her.

It's worrying - let us know what the vet says, please?
Thanks,
- terry

Ok great news so we took her to the vet last night and she was fine. Nothing was damaged. The vet did suggest to massage the area where she fell time from time. Our dog is back to normal now to. She's her hyper old self again
