Hugs and prayers for you and Brandi. This is a worrying time for you and there is little anyone can say to bring you comfort. Only the safe return of Brandi to your home and family can do that, so let's hope the treatment works and that she will soon be back with you where you can love her as she deserves.

Do you know WHICH enzyme is 8000? There are two main types of cancer that can affect the liver and one is much "better" to have than the other (surgery being curative). There is somewhat of a correlation between the type of cancer and which liver enzyme is elevated.

I do not know which enzyme is elevated. =/

We are waiting for the vet to call us back now. We've been waiting about an hour and a half. Maybe longer. Hope he calls soon. We will call back at 5 if we don't hear from him before then. It's 4:25 now.

We called the vet back and he said she is stable and she ate today. I am glad she ate! Makes me happy. Unfortunately she chewed up her catheter so they had to put a head cone on her.

We will call again tomorrow for another update.
