My dog might have spange?

Hello,

I've been to the vet 3 times already and they didn't find what both of my dogs had...This is why I come here right now.

So the problem is that both of my dog are scratching and loosing hair in the exact same spot. Recently, there's been a rash and took picture of the progression. I'm pretty curious if anyone had the same problem.

Here's the picture taken 5, 8 and 10th of May :

Thanks

I think you mean mange?
Has your vet done a skin scrapping? I might be worth it to take your dog to a doggy dermatologist.

Yeah this is what I meant. My autocorrect corrected it wrong...

Yeah the vet did a skin scrapping but it was negative as far as I can remember because she didn't give us any medication.

That is pretty serious hair loss. I think I would be going to a different vet.

I just called her and told me that the two tests she did was for

Skin scrapping for : tinea capetis (teigne in french)
Blood test for : Lyme disease and antique related to ticks

I don't know if that could help... I know dog dermatologists, like human ones, will use the trial and error method in order to eliminate different causes and want to bring all pertinent information to the appointment.

PS (important fact) : Recently, everything's been good and the hair started growing back on certain spots after giving some ketoconazole for like 2-3 months. We stopped the medicine because we saw no direct effect after so much time and miraculously the hair started growing back. Is there a link to do between those two facts...? I don't know.
