I've been preparing the food and he has no problem eating it. I just wanted to ask should I give him calcium carbonate along with the food even though I use Ipakitine (it has some calcium carbonate in it as well)?

Nope, he had no dental issues, I believe it was from his sickness which is now in the last stage. One of the symptoms are ulcers, so that might've been one.

Great to hear he's eating without a problem! About the cacium carbonate I have no idea!
Maybe that's why the calcium carbonate is in the the recipe to begin with and you shouldn't add it at all if the Ipakitine already has it in it ............

There is an article called 'Nutritional Management of Chronic Renal Disease' from UC Davis Veterinary Medicine, online that might help.......Google it!
Hope it helps!
