My dog ate a Hibiscus flower!!

My 9 month Cavalier x pup just ate a hibiscus flower and she's been sick 3 times in 15 minutes, now she is sleeping and looks really sad.
it's a public holiday so there aren't any vets open.

are Hibiscus plants dangerous? I'm quite worried.

I feed hibiscus flowers to my guinea pigs and bearded dragon. I've never heard of them being dangerous to dogs. It could be pesticides or even certain ferts on the plant. Do you have an e vet around you can call or go to?

Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus), is the only hibiscus that I'm seeing listed as potentially toxic.

With hibiscus it depends on the variety. If you're right, and sinesis is the variety he ate, it's non toxic. Toxic Tropical Hibiscus & Dogs | Home Guides | SF Gate
