Mouth growths/laceration

So I just noticed some strange appearance at the corner of my dogs lips. I first assumed it was a cut from him either chewing sticks or playing too rough with our other dog. The wound seems to be bulbous though and we think it could be an infection of some sort as well. His gums seem a little inflamed on both sides but the wound is only on one side. If any one has any input it would be greatly appreciated. I've just been cleaning it with warm water and giving him antibiotics. Name: image.jpg

I am assuming that with the antibiotics, you have been to the vet? What did they say about it?
