Liver Shunt operation

Our little baby Phoebe began to look very miserable and lonely at about 12 weeks old. She was constantly restless, ate very little and walked with her tail between her legs. We then bought her a little friend called Joey to cheer her up but to no avail. Phoebe's condition got worse and worse until finally after a very poorly few days in hospital, she was diagnosed with a postystemic shunt or a liver shunt. This means that Phoebe's blood doesn't filter through her liver like a normal dog and it is poisoning her body. Being such a young puppy, he prognosis isn't great unless she has an operation to correct the shunt. We of course have insurance but after so many scans, tests and treatment we've almost reached the limit on it we need this money to allow Phoebe to have a chance at a life. She's only a baby; she's our baby and we can't imagine life without her. We would be so grateful for any help towards her surgery.
