Jaw Displacement

Please give me some advice. My 10wk old puppy was bitten three days ago. In the bite her jaw was broken. The vet has placed a wire in. The problem is that is keeps popping to the side and the teeth are misaligned. i went back to the vet today and she made a tape muzzle that tied behind the ears. Well this little one simply takes his paw and pushes it down. The vet stressed that the longer it can stay in place the faster it will heal. I have to leave it loose enough so that he can eat and drink, but tight enough where he can't just push it off. I'm really up for any suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Sorry to hear about that. Is your pup big enough to wear an elizabethan collar? You can make a home made rig as well so it's more comfortable.

I imagine the dog is on wet foods?
