Question Help, My Pug's Lips are Pink!

We noticed my pug's lips are turning pink, particularly his lower lip. We have recently given him a new bone chew to play with, would that have something to do with it?
The pink part of his lips doesn't seem like it's raised and is definitely not a bump.
Does anyone know what it is? He doesn't seem affected by it, and when I touch the pink part, my dog doesn't actually react, so it doesn't seem painful for him. That being said, does he need to go to the vet asap?
I have attached pictures below.
Thanks in advance!

It may be just his color changing a bit, I've had my dogs belly spots do that and I liked to have panicked. To set your mind at ease call your vet, explain what's going on, and ask if you should bring him in. The call will be free and they are the best able to judge.

I don't think that is particularly uncommon. Ours has developed a pink spot on her nose, probably a couple of years ago, hasn't changed, doesn't bother her at all.

If it's not swollen or sore or getting bigger, I wouldn't worry. Just keep an eye on it.

I posted a thread hear about pink spots ( https://www.dogforum.com/dog-health/p...s-lips-330601/ ) last year. Like it was suggested in the thread, it was because she had cut her lips, after a few weeks they went back to normal.
