have you seen a wound like this?

hello,
I'll start off by saying, we are going to the Vet, I'm just looking for pre-visit thoughts! thanks.
Ibrecently discovered this wound on my dogs side head. Looked like a bite at first, but there doesn't appear to be a pyncture area. Maybe another dog bitnout some fur? Or something else. It's pretty raw and lightly bleeds after I clean it. The black globs appear to be dried blood. It doesn't seem to bother her at all, nit even whenbim cleaning it. She does rub it in the snow from time to time. She plays hard with a neighbour friend once in a while. It's been there about a week.
Thanks!

Glad you will be seeing vet treatment. Perhaps she was bitten by something and has scratched at it to make it look like that? The vet will be able to help you determine what may have caused it, could be a hot spot?
