Growth On Dog

My dog has a growth on the back of his neck. He is an 11 year old golden retriever. It started small but has gotten big in the last month. There are now two black "heads" growing on the original large hard bump.

The vet looked at it about 2 months ago and said to keep an eye on it. I wanted to get another opinion before I make an appointment with the vet again.

Have you seen something like this before? Any ideas? Should I be concerned?

If thats all my vet had said about that- I would be going to a different vet. When my dog had a cysts- they told me what it was & what my options were- we got it checked out asap. If its getting bigger- its time to get it analysed to find out if that is cancerous or non- cancerous
