Dry tender peeling nose

Help!! My poor pups nose has been getting worse and worse. He’s a rescue and has fear based anxiety which makes him very aggressive with people he doesn’t know so it’s a HUGE hassle to take him to the vet. Before knockin him out with doggy drugs to handle the vet, I thought I would try to get some advice here first. It’s very tender and we’ve tried coconut oil and other natural products. I did see something similar that mentioned Lupus but I’m not sure.....Anything helps! Thank you!

Possibilities- been digging with his nose/ sunburn. Use aloe vera straight from the plant or 100% Some of these ones off the shelf are so diluted they are not effective. Aloe is ok to be licked by the dog & will still work internally as healing. Keep the nose out of the sun & once scabbed over & healed enough you may need to inquire about a sunscreen for him which is safe to use on dogs. Make sure your dogs drinking enough, dry nose is a sign of dehydration. Change the water daily & scrub the bowl also. If this does not improve over the next ten days or starts showing signs of infection before that - weeping or puss - it needs to be diagnosed by a vet. Also you may need to get an antibiotic injection. Some anti-inflammatory meds. Do you have a vet that can do a house call? Would that be less stress on your dog do you think?
