Dog seems to have an issue with her mouth

So my dog for the last few mouths has been getting really irritated with her mouth. She licks alot and knaws/chews at the side of her mouth and it is especially worse after she eats.

When she eats biscuits it is alot worse, she just finished a bowl of biscuits and then licked for maybe a good 10 minutes and again knaws at the side of her mouth. She also will walk round with a ball in her mouth all the time and i didnt know whether that was because it helped her if there was any pain.

does it sound like potential gum disease??

Take her to the vet, no way of knowing what the problem might be and, it could be teething, a bad tooth, an infection or, something else.

Yes, you need a Vet to identify the problem. She definitely has something going on, you need to know what, so you can respond with the appropriate treatment.

Only vet can find the source. We can't help or give any advices to you since we don't experience that to our dogs.
