Dog acting uncharacteristic

The dog I'm worried about right now is Nacho, our 2yr old Boston terrier mix (beagle we think). He's always very playful, smart, loving and sneaky. (Especially compared to our 7 yr old golden retriever). He normally is a troublemaker however, recently it has been more so. He ran through 3 electric fences to follow me when I left on bike the other day. He had run through the electric fences in the house, but never the one outside. Next, Nacho peed all over the couch and floor. He has not had an "accident" for at least 8 months. Lastly, at 11pm I walked past nachos crate where he began to wine. This is very normal. I decided to sit with him for a bit and so I let him out. However, nacho refused to leave his crate which he hates. He also wouldn't let me shut the gate again either. I finally reached in and picked him up. He was calm and sleepy and shaking inseaintly. I got blankets in case he was cold but he still was shaking as if he were terrified. I understand these aren't major synmtoms, however I do not want to over look something. If you have any idea why he may be suddenly acting this way please lmk.

I think a visit to the vet would be the best thing. a 2 yr old does not suddenly just change behaviors like that without a reason. It does sound like trauma to me. Has something major happened before he ran through the 3 electric fences to follow you?
a huge noise? Like a prolonged thunderstorm, tree cutting, construction? Did someone threaten you, or you were in the situation where he could have thought you were in danger?
these would be the things I would look out for to get to the bottom of this.

First you need to eliminate or focus on possible medical issues. You need your Vet to check him over for that. Once you have that information, you can better map the best direction to proceed.
