Does this look normal?

Taken 60 hours post spay, 40 lbs and 15 monthes.

The black thing freaked me out but it seems to be a scab or drop of dried blood.

I have no idea what's normal. She's acting okay and I'm doing my best to keep her quiet. She has jumped in and out of my bed several times. The first 24 was pretty rough but she really perked up. Appetite is coming back as well, probably at 75%. She is going potty just fine.

Still a bit of swelling and redness which is normal. Just keep monitoring it to ensure it keeps improving.
The black thing is probably just a bit of blood that has dried to the skin.

It looks better today overall but does that one end look funny?
I think it's at the top the way the picture loaded.

There is less redness as far as I can tell, the swelling is coming down too, it's just the puckering from the swelling that makes things look funny.

Your dog is not having access to the site, right?!!! If there is no discharge it is well on it's way to be all healed up soon.
