Dividing 100 lb flea and tick drops for smaller dog

I had a large 100 lb dog for years but he has passed away. I have a six month supply of Advantix for large dogs (100lb). But now I have a dog who is 50 pounds. Is it possible or advisable to divide the Advantix doses in half for this smaller dog?

I wouldn't do it. I would donate it to a friend or a shelter. And I'd get the correct dose for my new dog.

I agree, there is a reason they make separate boxes for different weights. If your vet carries the brand and the box has not been opened the may take it for you. If not like icemaden said I would give it to a friend or donate it to a shelter.
