Cyst caused by Microchip implant

My dog developed a cyst the size of a walnut at the site of a microchip implant. I had to have it removed at a cost of $700. Because it was a Pet Link chip I got NOTHING in help from the company that made it to remove it. Had it been from Home Again they WOULD HAVE helped financially with the removal. If you decide you must chip then select a Home Again chip.

I am not affiliated with either company. I am just trying to get the word out that some dogs do get reactions to having a foreign object in them. You do have a choice with these chips. Me personally I am done with them. The url is a picture of her incision on her back.
