Corgi puppy repeated diarrhea/soft stool

Our 6 months old corgi puppy has been had repeated diarrhea/soft stool for more than 1 month, at beginning he passed a lot of stinky gas and had pudding diarrhea when the first time I took him to the vet, they did fecal smear and saw some mucus, they thought it was possibly bacterial infection, and put him on metronidazole for one week, he still had squashy poop while taking the medicine and diarrhea came back with bloody mucus after 3 days he finished antibiotics. I instantly sent him to a bigger animal hospital, they examed CBC and fecal parasites, both came back normal, also the result of fecal smear showed that he had very little normal bacteria in his interestine. The vet prescribed another 2 weeks of metronidazole and penicillin. He was gradually recovering until the third day after he was done with medicine, he suddenly threw up all the food he had and had very bad watery diarrhea. I called the vet again, they didn't think it is anything related to infection this time, but food intolerance, and suggested me to only feed him one kind of dog food with no treat at all. After fasting him for 24 hours, his stool became better for one day and today I saw pudding stool again...right now I am feeding him Purina pro plan puppy food with dog probiotics, also planning on giving him Panacur for 3 days in case he has parasites that the vet didn't find out last time. It is very frustrating situation that his stool has been normal and bad again for more than one month, generally he is doing great, very energetic and playful. Any suggestion about my puppy's situation would be strongly appreciated! Thank you very much

I would suggest taking him to an internist. After over a month, its time for a second opinion, & IMO a specialist's opinion.
