I found this link while searching online. I mean its only 5 tips, but they are pretty good. They may help with your dogs itchiness. My dogs seasonal allergies are pretty bad and I am finally starting to get them some relief. https://www.enduraflap.com/blog/post...nal-allergies/

It would be a good idea to analyse every plant outside that your dog gets exposed to, find the names & google to see if dogs are allergic. Or take the list to an expert vet. One we have here is wandering due weed but there are others. Also try anti itch shampoo for dogs, anti itch creams, try wiping him with a damp cloth after being outside. It can also be allergies to fragrances in washing powder etc. Double check ingredients on products you use on his bedding jackets conditioning sprays etc. Try socks or boots for dogs to prevent the itch by reducing exposure. Dont use pesticide on your grass. Flea control products may not be working either, fleas are becoming immune to lots of them & dogs are having allergic reactions to them. Grass & dust mites can also cause this.

I have a lot of crab grass and weeds in my back yard since no one goes back there but the dogs. Do you think that could be the cause. Its his thighs down to his feet that have rashes and red bumps.

If it's the crab weed it's an allergy to grass pollen & will be seasonal. eg worse in spring/summer. When they lie down on their feet it can spread up their legs & tummy etc You could ask the vet if he can do a grass allergy test on your dog or if he can refer you to someone who could. ☺️ Don't use a weed killer thats harmful to animals. You can dig it out & salt the roots or fence off an area that you don't want used. Good luck!!!
