Bloody Diarrhea

Hello everyone! I own a pup named Widget. She is a Jack Russel Terrior mixed with Parson Russel and weights about 13 pounds. Her 1st birthday was March 6th. She has no history of any sort of medical problem.

I moved into a new apartment complex on the 18th. That same day, I found a kitten that was abandoned and decided to take her in. The kitten seems to be doing quite well, and is about 4 or 5 weeks old. She has a timy bit of a potbelly, but from images I’ve seen, most kittens seem to at her age. Well, a few days ago I gave the kitten a flea bath, and caught two dead fleas on her afterwards. A day or two later, I noticed my dog having very liquidy stool, and just today, I noticed blood in it.

Things to note. She tends to lick the floors a lot. About a year ago when I had taken her in to live with me in another apartment complex, I caught her trying to eat the feces of other dogs. I haven’t caught her doing it this year, but I’m starting to overthink and believe I might have missed her doing it. The complex I am in now has a dog park, and she’s been in contact with many dogs. I have no idea if its stress from the move, worms from the kitten, something she ate without me knowing, etc. She eats just fine, doesnt seem tender on her belly, and is very active. She hasn’t been vomiting either. However, I’ve never seen blood in her feces before and I’m absolutely terrifed that she might have worms from the kitten or from the dog park, and that both of them could be affected.

Could it just be stress? Has this happened to anyone before? Am I just overthinking?

What shadowmom said, also take the kitten to the vet ASAP as well, rabies is a concern with young stray kittens.
