Poppy is due tomorrow. She's started to slow down now but has played with Nelson a few times - he keeps bringing her rope toys and tennis balls but is giving her space.

As I write this she has disappeared into her whelping box and is digging away.

Fingers crossed its not much longer. She looks so uncomfortable!

Still no puppies

Poppy has given up on the whelping box and is back on the sofa with me and Nelson - and a variety of teddies she has decided to take everywhere with her and keeps putting them on top of Nelson. She has started lactating so we are getting closer. Her temperature dropped this morning but is right back up to normal again now.

Took her 3 attempts to roll from her side onto her belly to stand up earlier. She looks like she's going to pop and is getting bigger every day.

We have an appointment at the vets on Monday to check on everything as we're now on day 64. He did say that Jacks can often go to 69/70 days. Really don't think we can wait another week!
