While im very happy with Jessie's groom and sanitary shave etc i suspected Jessie hadnt had a bath because normally its really obvious and strong smell lovely one mind ya but Jess smelt the same to me. It wasnt till tonight when i kissed her on her head and smelt doggy smell that i was right.

I said to Jess the groomer didnt bath you did she? and i paid 60 dollars . Dad looks to say what did i tell you but says nothign and mum was shocked and said do they normally bath them when do full groom ? i said yes normally they do. So just bathed her. altogether bath and blow dry took 20 mins when altogeher normally takes a hour

I dont see why a groomker wouldnt bathe a dog. no groomer is going to groom a dirty dog. its rugh on equipment. maybe she just didnt use a finishing spray this time

I can't imagine she wasn't bathed. Those pics you posted she looks clean. If you groom a dog without bathing, the hair won't have that nice fluff to it because of the weight of the dirt and oil on the hair. Some even have a "dusty" look when theyre shaved and very dirty. And as said before its not good for your equipment.

it was really weird because a day later her face stank as well as rest of her which is why i questioned it, normally she uses soemthing that is high in fragrance that last for weeks

Same here. Sanitary included in the groom price, and includes belly, around genitals and inside of back legs.

LuvMyFluff,
I have a female Tibetan Terrier 3 yrs old and I've been looking on the web for Photos of the 'Bum & Tummy' trim for the last 1 1/2 years... and today I found your 'Sanitary Clip' Photos!!! Thank You!!!
They are perfect - shows me exactly what I need to do to clean her little tushy and tummy up so she feels nice & fresh after her potty breaks. Tibbies have 'all that hair' so it is always getting dribbled on.
And I put on my registration that 'You referred me' since I only joined Dog Forum so I could send this message to YOU! Yes, your Photos are that Brilliant and important to me & for my Sidara.
I too am a 'retired & disabled' Senior, and in California (Grover Beach, near San Luis Obispo; north of you by hours) so we have that in common too.
I can't leave my home (agoraphobia) so Sidara is my Service Dog & companion.
Again, Thank You so much for the Photos you took & posted... I saved them so I can see them when I do her trim -- in a little while after her bath or maybe 'before' her bath!
