What is your Dog's Favorite toy?

We are looking for fun interactive toys for our Rhodesian Ridgeback / Black Mouth Curr "puppy" she is about 15 months old and is a heavy chewer - goes through most toys in a matter of minutes.

She does have 3 kong toys and does play with them some - but I really want something that "plays back" that moves so she has to chase it - motorized somehow.

I was thinking maybe a weaselball if I take the weasel off - any thoughts?

I am really looking forward to hearing or seeing what you all use to entertain your puppies.

My dog likes a kong toy...he is a heavy chewer as well. He absolutely loves his jolly ball and he always wants us to blow bubbles. One of his all time favorite past times is chasing the laser pointer light. Loves it. He is also a water dog so can entertain himself for hours in the kiddie pool during the summer months.

We have tried something similar to a weasel ball but he didn't like it.

Plastic container on a string

We have a pig, we use an old coffee or creamer container and hang it outside on a string, drill holes and fill with various treats (the pig will only use it when there’s food) Our pup though, loves batting it around and chasing it. It’s so fun to watch. I tried posting a video but it never works for me here.

I added a screenshot instead, excuse the grim reaper and my husband. Lol

I know it has been awhile - but I wanted to give a quick up date - we did try a soccer ball that lasted less than an hour and she was ripping the "skin" off of it. I got her a jolly ball and that was and is a hit she has had it since November and plays with it all of the time - outside - and no damage - LOVE LOVE LOVE it. For Christmas we did get her a weasel ball - she was not to sure about that - she plays with it some but not a whole lot - I only give it to her for a half an hour at time maybe once a week - but she gets bored with it rather quickly - so not so much on that one.

My dog likes the Kong Jumbler ball--he has two large ones, even though he's a 21 pounder. He's a heavy chewer, too--peeled a conventional Kong like an apple to get to the treat in the bottom of it--but he's had the Jumbler balls for a couple of years now, and they're still intact. One of them even still squeaks. They do have a smaller ball inside of them, however, so if you're really worried about your dog chewing through the Jumbler, you might need to watch out for that.

His current set of favorite toys, which he hasn't chewed up at all for some reason, are a set of tool-shaped toys I got at Menard's. They're made out of a tougher material and have squeakers in them, but the squeak isn't terribly loud. He has a wrench, a hammer, and a pair of pliers--started out with just the pliers and when the others went on sale for $2 a toy after Christmas, I completed his set for him. It's pretty funny to see him trotting importantly about the house with a wrench in his mouth as if he's about to go play Mr. Fix-it.

We subscribe to BarkBox so she gets new toys every month. She is a really tough chewer and those toys, generally, hold up really well.

I don't think Aspen has a favorite toy necessarily but she will go to her toy box with a specific toy in mind. She'll dig through until she finds the toy that she's looking for.

any toy my cats have recently played with. Mine is completely disinterested in 'dead' toys, but if the cats have been batting one around, he'll watch with interest and gleefully steal it the moment it's abandoned.
He'd be happy in 'rotten's' house--he only likes to play if I'm actively engaged with him and 'making it move' or preferably, 'making me move'. He keeps me in shape. Um, I just figured out my dogs favourite toy, would be me...

It used to be my right forearm but Bob has decided on other toys such a tug, tennis ball or frisbee.

My dog has little if any interest in any toys unless I bring them to "life", much the same as @Artdog.

I'm also the same as @rotten, the toys are all mine and only come out for training and interaction between the two of us. If it doesn't move or can be chased, captured and given the kill shake, Bob don't much care about it.

My parents bought Chisum a stuffing-free raccoon from menards for Christmas. He knew he wanted it from the moment they put it in a stocking above the fireplace (he threw a fit and tried so hard to get it they just put the whole stocking in the closet). It’s hideous - fuzzy body and his horrific rubber head. It squeaks this loud, terrible squeak when he chews it. It came complete with little rubber feet/claws. But man he LOVES that thing.

Levi loves all toys, no favourite, although lately he's been very interested in those Purple puller rings.

Heidi's FAVOURITE toy is this little squeaky brown football. It took me so long to get her to take food when it was around.

We have high value tug toys that only come out to train together, they aren't left around for them to play with.

Bark Box has been sending us these really cool toys where they are plush on the outside, and then there's a much more durable chew toy on the inside. We've had an acorn and a potato that my younger dog loves. I saw them selling the potato at Target too.

Shamas picked up a Kong ball at Petsmart today. I don't normally buy things because he asks for them, but the way i look at it, I pay about $30/month replacing destroyed tennis balls- and this was $29

It has handles on each side for tug games, a tennis ball inside, for a satisfying kill shake, and apparently it squeaks too! Shamas loves it so much he's carrying it everywhere, and Im happy to toss the old tennis balls, old rope and empty half-stuffy that he currently owns.

The next thing I want to get him is one of those stuffing-less toys. He always empties his stuffies, removes sqeakers and carries around the skins so I thought we'd skip the mess:rofl:

I'm also like Rotten, most toys are mine. But I do have some of "her" toys laying around because she likes to keep busy when we're inside. She's a duck dog, and ALWAYS has something in her mouth, and keeping toys laying around keeps her from picking up my socks, towels, clothes, etc, etc, etc. Her absolute favorite is my Chuck It! ball and thrower. She sees it come out and goes batty. We work on her retrieves with that. She also loves her duck decoy. It's strictly for retrieving in the off season though.

In the house, her favorite is her Kong. Even when it's empty she will throw it and bounce it. She loves her giant tennis ball too. Best in terms of ruggedness has been a nine dollar rope bone that somehow has held up for two months. I was amazed, and it's still in good shape.

I subscribe to "Bullymake Box." It's a monthly box of toys and treats for extreme heavy chewers, and their stuff is fantastic. I got a flavored "coffee cup" like a kong that I fill with food, and she goes nuts over it! They send awesome bones, toys and stuffing free "plush" toys made to last. They also have a policy that if a dog destroys a toy in less that 14 days they'll replace it for free, and I had an entire box of toys that my pup had no interest in, contacted them, and they sent me a new box! Wonderful customer service, and people truly dedicated to power chewers. Can't recommend them enough.
