Special Diet chew toys

Hi,

My 8 year old beagle mix has a history of bladder stones (struvite particularly). She is on the Royal Canin diet (yes we tried the home made food route 6 years ago when they started but they have now returned). So they say that introducing anything other than the diet can cause them to reform if she gets an infection. I feel bad for her that she really has no chew toy options that I know of. Does anyone have any experience with this and what I can do to satisfy her urge to chew without introducing anything to mess up her pH levels?

Thanks!

There are ones that look like bones but they are'nt, the dogs can chew them but they cant chew it up & digest it. They've just got flavouring. I'm wondering if you could make a larger chew biscuit that can be digested out of the royal canin biccys mixed with whatever else this diet allows, mould it into a shape and double slow bake it like how you make biscotti or baby teething rusks. Do you know what I mean? like soften the biccys with sum wetter food or water, mould & bake so theyre really hard.
