Hello, I'm new to the forum and new to being a dog owner and just wanted to give this tip that has been helpful for me to any other kong lovers out there. I haven't seen a post mentioning this, so I apologize if it has been said before.
I've been filling my kongs with wet dog food and freezing them, but it was always a bit messy to fill and it'd take a bit to fill multiple at a time. I was watching a baking show and had the idea to funnel them in with a ziplock bag.
- Put the food in the bag and seal it.
- Cut one of the bottom corners with scissors to make a hole that's wide enough to get the food out but small enough to fit in the kong.
- Then you just squeeze the food out of the hole and your kong is filled in seconds!
Thanks for listening, hopefully, it was helpful. I'd love to hear any tricks other people may have when it comes to dogs.
