I found a hard to destroy 'toy'

Some days ago, I gave AU, a large 'priority mail' envelope, ...his I.D. tag was inside a bubble wrap pouch that was inside the priority mail envelope. The envelope itself looks like it could fit a legal sized piece of paper in it.

So, I gave it to AU, thinking, that he would shred it a bit, even though those envelopes are not meant to tear easily...puppy teeth are quite sharp. So far though, it's still in good shape.

He loves it, because it crackles and makes all kinds of noise when he places with it and it flaps in the air if he grabs it just right (in one of the corners) and runs with it...it will 'kite' up a bit, sometimes blocking his view and that makes things even more fun, from what I can determine. :)

So, if anyone is looking for another hard to destroy toy, you might try a USA mail priority envelope. I don't even think AU's been able to put a puncture hole in it yet, much less put a rip it to shreds like I thought would happen by now.

Don't think I could risk that with Ben as he might start eating the mail - which gets posted though the door here.
I did find a squeaky Christmas cracker toy however which has lasted and lasted. It's cylindrical with no tempting corners to yank at. He loves that cracker. When it squeaks he reciprocates with growls and puppy like yelps and throws it up in the air. Which means he then has to run around to sniff it out as he can't see where it landed.

It's been like 9 or 10 days now since I gave him that envelope, he managed to damage one corner of it it where the flap use to fold over, and it's looking pretty washed out and crumpled, and there are a couple of teeth holes in it now, but still, it's pretty much in one piece, and he's still having fun with it.
