So I really cant find any info on using a dog box outside like the bed of a truck or a crate inside the vehicle and are boxes limited to people doing sporting like hunting in that case should i get a crate?

I think it truly depends on the person, the environment, and the dog. I don't know much about the dog boxes that go into the back of trucks, but I imagine if they are secured into the bed of the truck (I know they are heavy but I am talking about somehow being secured in there) I can see how they would be safer then a dog riding loose in the bed of a truck. I think some consideration has to go into the climate you live in as well. Like I'm in Florida. With a feels like temperature around 100 daily I often worry that dogs in the dark hot metal boxes are at risk for over heating in this heat. I personally am more of a fan of having the dog in a crate in the cabin of the truck. Temperature controlled as well as safer for the dog.
