Hello fellow dog lovers! I have a 12 pound Zuchon puppy who is 5 months old and will be an estimated 17-18 pounds when older, according to the vet. In the summertime, I love to ride my bike, and would love for Moose to be able to come with me. He is too small to run next to the bike, and could not run for very long periods of time. So I was thinking about purchasing (or making) a doggy bike basket so he can safely ride with me. Does anyone have any recommendations or DIY ideas? Thanks for any help!
I think I am going to go with the Pet Pilot MAX. Moose is going to be on the large side at 17-18 pounds, and most of the baskets only hold 15 pounds. Apparently the Pet Pilot MAX is designed to carry heavier loads, and has lots of good reviews, although it is a bit pricey. But safety and comfort are number one priorities and this basket seems to be up to par. Thanks for the recommendations!
That's a great choice. You're very welcome. Yes, you should get what you think is suitable for your dog. Good luck!
