Question Cool water bottle for dogs

Hey guys, my niece is having her 12th birthday and she is super crazy about dogs, especially her lab. I want to buy her a cool gift and I thought about these 2 water bottles, please help me choose 1 that might fit better, thank you so much in advance.

The second looks way quicker and easier to use than the first. Nice idea!

I use #2 and love it...compact and easy to travel with and everyone that sees it loves it.

I will say however I have gone through a few different brands and the only one I found to be effective are the ones available at Petsmart. They are not all made the same and some are clunky or have horrible flow to get the water out of the bottle. I have donated off all the others I have purchased over the years.

Top Paw® Travel Water Bottle (COLOR VARIES) | dog Food & Water Bowls | PetSmart

The #1 option is more of a novelty. Bottle needs to be pretty full to actually work and you can never get all the water out of the bottle into the bowl as you run low.

I use #2 as well and it works great. The brand I use is called "Gulpy" which is actually pictured in that photo with the Schnauzer.

I use the second (beacuse I didn't find the first in my pet shop) and I love it! The small one is better for small dogs, and more practical to carry with you. They are also very resistent to hits.

They both look good but I would go with the first water bottle which looks a bit easier to use besides it is possible to have two dogs drinking from it at the same time because the dish part is wide. I have heard from some people who have used the second bottle have experienced some issues with it (leakage, bottle cap). Hope this helps.
