Question Too Early for Adult Food?

I have two Yorkies that are fully grown, we just added a rescue to our bunch and he eats their adult food more than his own Puppy food. We're wondering if it's worth it to keep buying the puppy food because he seems to not want it at all. He's a 12 week old pitt/lab mix.
Any help at all would be great!!

A Pit/Lab Mix I would have on a large breed puppy food (or at least a regular puppy food). I would not let him eat food that adult Yorkies eat. They have different requirements at this stage of their life.

He should be on a good food whether its puppy food (I personally wouldn't feed large breed formulas for a med/lg dog) or a food for all age groups

I would separate when feeding and give a quality puppy food. It may be the puppy food that is the problem. I would check into a brand like Blue puppy
BLUE Buffalo Wilderness - Natural Evolutionary Chicken Diet for Puppies ? Grain Free
it is high in protein and a very good food for a growing pup.
