Food one has Enterococcus faecium - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia which doesn't sound good to me???

It does have pro and pre biotics, but that could just be in such small amounts that they are not clinical.

It also looks like it has a higher protein source, as food two lists too many grains (so they have more overall but they appear lower in the list to fool you to think protein is higher).

To be honest I like Food one better, as the first ingredient is NOT a byproduct. :)

The first one mostly because at least the first source is a meat and not a meal. But both have too much grains in it.. Why?
Opps-edit-scratch that- I see sodium selinate on the first one- dump that one! LOL
For dogs that tolerate grains and aren't allergic that's fine though. As long as protein is a minimum of 22%

Borzoi-sodium selenate is a mineral supplement not a preservative-why don't you like it there? I haven't read anything against it ever before?

Try the above on at least getting away from a by product.. As far as the sodium selenate also hardens the stool, ie smaller and tighter- it dries out the bowel. You could be asking for delayed bowel, to anal gland. I would just avoid it or maybe add some yogurt with it to off set it.

So everyone thinks the first one?

Food 1 is Blue Buffalo...and Food 2 is Royale Canine....

Royal Canine is more expensive and I didn't know it had Corn Meal in it (isn't that bad)?

Also Blue Buffalo just looks better I mean I know what most of the ingredients are.

Corn Meal is different then Corn and can be very nutritous.

Keep in mind dog food is probably the biggest pet controversy around right now-so there will be differing opions in ANYONE you ask. Some minds say you cannot have 'this' in a food and others say you must etc. etc. It's controversial.

In fact Borzoi feeds raw, Crio feeds some raw and some kibble, I feed kibble and some cooked-and we all agree on Food One-So that's pretty rad :) Must be a good food :)
