Hey darkangel,

Dogs of a specific breed aren't aggressive, it's the irresponsible owner who makes them that way. It ticks me off all dogs are banned or all dogs of a breed are banned from places because of a few bad actors made that way by their owners or lack of training.

Let me off this soap box! Sorry.

I agree with Mallory...my first thought was doberman when I saw him. When he gets his adult coat he'll probably favor one breed over the other. Years ago I worked with Shepherds. They are wonderful, intelligent dogs. Properly trained there isn't anything they can't do.

Y'all come by now.

I know thats why i said dogs that people consider "aggressive" because its them just thinking that because of the media making them out to be that way. Im highlly aware it depends on how they are trained.

He does look like a GSD/dobie cross. Although I wouldn't let the coloring fool you. There are dark colored gsd's very close or simiular to yours. Here is a good site about different coats, colors, and types. Mix a black sable with a dobie and I think you may have the coloring coat of your dog. Or a bi-color mixed witha dobie... Food for thought

He is a beauty though.
