service dogs for those at risk

I know there are siezure alert dogs, but I was wondering... are there service dogs for those with heart diseases that can lead to sudden cartiac arrest? I wonder if there is a kind that can alert a person when their pace maker is going to go off or if their heart is palpitating too much.
Does anyone know?

Interesting question Kodakeet. They can detect just about everything else, so I would think a properly trained dog for this type of problem may be able to do so. We all have chemical changes when things go wrong in our bodies, so why not.

There are several different types of medical alert dogs. Dogs can be trained to alert someone to an impending seizure, psychiatric episodes and diabetic episodes (both high and low blood sugar). I've never heard of a dog being able to alert to cardiac episodes. Because of the changes in your body chemistry, I'm sure a dog could be trained to alert to an impending heart attack.
