My Diabetic Alert Dog caught on video alerting actual low

I was excited to catch on video my Sheltie, Aenon, who is a diabetic alert dog, catching and alerting to a real blood sugar low of mine. I was in the process of videoing him alerting on a scent sample, but instead, he alerted on my hand, an indication that I really was having low blood sugar. What a good dog!!! I never thought I'd be able to catch this behavior on video.

This is a pretty short video.

Good boy Aenon!!!

I love seeing updates about how his diabetic alert dog training is coming along. It seems like he was almost born to do this. What a rock star!

Thanks everyone!! It amazes me every time he does it. Tiggerbounce, Aenon was born to do this! His dad is a medical alert dog, and his granddam just went to a facility where she can be an alert dog. I had no idea this ability ran in the lines when I choose this breeding, but God knew. Aenon has a great nose and loves to alert. I'm very blessed to have him as my service dog and my agility dog.
