Maybe it would help your nervousness if you did some things now that made you more excited than anxious about the dog's arrival. If you've already done the obvious things like picked up dishes and figured out where they'll be in your home, perhaps you could start putting together a scrapbook or get a photo album ready for all the photos you can take once the dog gets there (I'm just assuming you'll want to take photos, as my phone is full of photos of my dog and I know a lot of people whose phones are similarly afflicted). Or just get a fun frame in which to put the first photo of the two of you together. If you're inclined to journal, write down how much you're looking forward to your dog's arrival, everything you've learned already from the trainers etc., what you're hoping to do together once the dog arrives etc. If journaling's not your thing, you could always just make a list of the things you want to do with your dog once the two of you are a team.
Just do anything that will remind you what a positive relationship you and your dog are about to begin together.
