| You can change a dog's name whenever you want. Dogs have no concept of names. They understand some words and know when you're referring to them by your body language and tone of voice. My mom's rotti was 10M old when she got him (he's 5 now). His names was Evans. She renamed him Bruno. It took a few days, but he learned that that phrase meant for him to pay attention.
My new pug was named Midget II by his 1st owner, Popeye by his second owner, and now I'm calling him Gus. He doesn't care. He gets more excited for "Who's a good boy?!" |
