Puppy farts!

My pup farts all the time and they smell so bad like eggs! It seems like he farts 24/7. Is this the norm for puppies or all dogs? I've never owned a pup before so I'm very new to the odors that come along with doggies

Welcome to the forum Eileen Considering that the puppy was found in a parking lot of a fast food joint, i am assuming that he was also feasting on people's leftover nuggets and french fries and that may be contributing to the foul smells coming from his behind LOL Bad diet will definitely give a dog gas. I think once he is used to a good quality food on a regular basis, you will start to notice the gas will go away. What are you feeding him if you don't mind me asking?

As Jakobi has pointed out, the pup's diet has probably not been the best. Just think what a poor diet does to our own systems, and now translate that to a baby's digestion and you get GAS (and probably other digestive issues).
Once your little guy's system adjusts to the new and improved diet he will enjoy as part of your family you should see improvement.
One note, have you had him vetted? Especially because of how/where you came to have him it would be important to have him fully vetted which may reveal some other issues that can have an impact on digestion/gas/etc (ie parasites, etc).
