Puppy Class

I just got back from a puppy class with Charlie.

So he was pretty shy at first, especially during the off leash play (Tail was tucked and back up) so he sort of hid in the corner. The person running it asked the two others in the beginners group to put their dogs on leash to see if Charlie would walk up, and in about five minutes he happily did. After that he kept trying to play with them.

The thing is, they gave bones. Called Rollovers? They weren't like chicken bones...but they still worried me, since they obviously were bones. They were like bulky sort of, not like long. I was wondering are these even safe? :/ I've heard sooo many horror stories about bones, that even ones that look sort of safe worry me. Any advice?

like dried/bleached bones? They sell those in the shops here. Som'times they stuff them with peanut butter...etc...

if your not comfortable with him having them, I'd just take it and say you are "saving it for later" or som'thing and just take it with you. That way no one is offended.

glad he did well

Yeah, those are them.

Thanks for the advice, I'll do that next time.

Good luck with the puppy classes. As Crio said, don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with. Just take it and throw it later, or just say no if you don't care that much.
