yeah i know they have a fence aroudn their yard but i guess their females have gotten outn and dogs can get in from jumping it. I have been trying t oget ahold of her to see if i can leave the puppy with the litter till she is 8 weeks but no luck and i know when i was there some were already being taken home since they were weaned from their mom and eating solid food and drinking water. i worry about her not being with them and not learning to not bite to

well its seems that spay/neuter would be the "common sense" solution...some people need a reality check LOL

Don't fear...if you cant get the pup back...then all is not lost..you will just have to step up and make sure you go the extra mile to make sure the pup gets all the socialization its missed out on

you read my mind, i was wondering if they are having this problem dont they get them fixed

whats sme god wys for socialization? like is aid when i have gotten pups they are 8 weeks nd been with mom/litter the whole time and i couldgt them their shots and take them out. I have a son who she plays with and if she nips him/bites ( not enough to draw blood but make him cry) he cries and leaves her and she gets sad and she seems to not do it so much. I just want to make sure i dont go messin' up and i dont want to worry about her being a bitter I have 2 older fixed male who are up to dat on shots/worming dogs but they are HUGE comapred to her and i dont want her getting hurt.

an older dog utd on shots and known to be good with pups. sometimes shelterswill let you borrow/foster a mama or other dogfor that purpose.

yeah and if they will let you do it, youll be helping out that other dog by giving them a break from the shelter.

it doesnt hurt to ask. another thing you can do is look in your area for a RESPONSIBLE breeder and see if they will let you bring the pup to socialize with their dogs..who are typically well adjusted to puppies.

ahh ok thank you thanks everyone for all the great advice, i know most people who be flame and say i was wrong for taking her but, with the fate she had coming if i didnt, i couldnt live with myself. cause if they didnt find homes in like 4 days which was the delivrey day of the preggy dog they were going to a pound/put down.

not flaming you.

flaming this breeder and yes they are a breeder they disnt prevent their intact bitch from getting tied up with a male...a totally preventable circumstance. and then tbey would have punished the pups for their own idiocy. the mama dog is not the real bitch in this equation.

though, i might nor have taken the pup. not knockinya, just sayin. maybe next time, you snap a pic and pass it out to the shelters and tell them to call when they went through intake.
