Feed the pup all she wants to eat several times a day. A puppy this age is very unlikely to over eat, so getting fat is not really the issue. Getting enough calories is the crucial thing.
The quality of the food is also important, and in general one gets what one pays for in this regard (although there are exceptions both ways!)
With such a young puppy, adding some water to the kibble to make it go down easier can be good. Canned as you are doing, is also great, and you can do this as well as adding a bit of water too.
Do you have any pics? A 6 week staffy must be very cute!
