New member hello
I was a member of another forum and was having repeated technical issues with their webpage so here I am. I really needed to be able to communicate with some friends I made there , so here I am. Maybe some of you were also members there so we can reconnect.
Seven years ago I took on a difficult cattle dog/BC mix. I was not dog savvy and had to become savvy very fast. He changed me in ways I could not imagine. It has not always been easy. There have been moments of tears and of joy.
Sadly, he will be leaving me sooner than I will be ready for. He has an advanced case of sinus cancer. I will struggle with the decision to help him ease his suffering. Right now he is still eating and playing with toys, but there are signs and symptoms that he is not completely comfortable. He is 9 years old. I would have gladly put up with him for 20. (sometimes he's a terrorist)
Loki is my Border Collie and he's 3. He is the polar opposite of Frodo. He's very sweet and loves to cuddle on the couch at night.
I have been through a lot with Frodo, he taught me to have strength and to stand up for what I believe in. He taught me how to be a dog person.
