I really need help please :(

I used to have a dog (poodle) Lucky was 15 years old and he was not housebreak well. Please i dont want to make the same mistake as my new puppy that i wll be getting.. Im looking for help, tips and advice. I will be adpoting a female this time. Not sure what yet maybe a toy poodle or mix poodle. I choose poodle couse i do have some algergies to dogs. My poodle that i had didnt bother me.

I got tons of time on my hands and I'm mostly home taking care of my ill grandma. I would like to train my dog to go potty outdoors (back yard) I have read that i need to teach her One spot only and if she goes potty then i can take her around the yard or take her around the block, park or let her free in the back yard. is this a good idea? Or take her in the front and just let her potty there. Also PLEASE tell me a good schedule that WORKS! like morning what time to take her out, feeding, potty after etc..
Should i crate my dog or have him in a excersis den? I got a big house how should i start my potty traning? should i just let her in the crate then out to potty then she can be free in the house? or block some places? I do wnat her to sleep with me on the bed. I SURE MISS HAVING A DOG ON THE BED! maybe I can put a gate at night and let her free in my room? also water do i let him have water at night? how many meal times can she have?

I also want to teach her how to RING THE BELL to let me know when she wants to go outside and I can let her out.

any helpful tips, advice etc PLEASE I NEED HELP!
