Help with crate training

So i get how i'm supposed to put a dog in a crate and stuff and let him stay in there for a while. Then let him out after a few hours or so. Do i bring him back in the crate after? How long should they stay in the crate per day? What if they keep crying when they're in the crate? And will they know that outside is the best place to go potty? I mean they will already know that going potty inside is bad?

read thru this thread, great info on crate training...

and this

The dog goes in the crate when you can't supervise if you are potty training. If you know she has to go, but doesn't, yes she should go right back in the crate.

i couldn't tell what you where asking either, iam sure thats why she provided you with that link as you mention your pup is crying in it. It would be a good idea to get her super comfortable with it anyway.

Please do not post redirects. That site said nothing different than our Sticky does. So there is no confusion.
