Help

I have a friend that had a lab, and she had to move. so instead of taking her to a shelter, i told her i would take her. She is a little over a year, and she has never been house broken. I have tried everything i know to do, but she will not use the bathroom outside. I take her out and she just sets down and looks around. I bring her back in she goes to one spot in my house and trys to use the bathroom, so i stop her and take her back out. Where she plops down on her butt and looks around some more. some one please help me out and tell me how i can get her to use the bathroom outside.

Welcome

House Training How Tos:

this link has it all. The most important thing is supervision, and time...this will take over a week, and perhaps several weeks to get *going*. Patience is key.

This might help I rescued a 1 year old Aussie that was not housebroken and using the crate had him trained in about a week.
