People discust me

Not everyone, mind you, just the ones that make regret giving up my aggressive nature. These people need to be put in a room and abused. Sorry, it is an old video, but these always get my hackles up.

Wow that is just disgusting. I can't believe someone even lived in that house in those conditions. You got to wonder what is wrong with some people. I mean she said she bred them but she was obviously insane because even people that don't mind keeping dogs in those awful conditions wouldn't want to live in them their selves. Yet this was going on at her own house. Yuck! At least a good many of them made it out alive thanks to someone reporting the issue. That is just sad.

:O that's disgusting!!! argh!! what is wrong with people like that? how can anyone think that's ok? the other thing is, with so many dogs there, there's no way they can all get the human attention they need, so no doubt some of them will have developed behavioural as well as health problems. >( i know with our breeder (same breed!!! ) we paid £800 for monty - $1210.40 and she made hardly any profit from that amount, because she insisted the puppies were kept til 9 weeksm she eye, hip and ear checked them, got their first vaccinations done and paid for all the food and everything they needed herself too!!! she breeds dogs because she ADORES dogs, and watching little baby doggies grow, not just for solid profit, like this horrible person!!!

there are alot of puppy farms in Wales, and alot of (slightly irresponsible) new dog owners buy the puppies from them (the puppies are then sold in pet shops, so the owners have no idea where they've come from) which encourages the puppy farming

see, if more new dog owners did their homework before buying, these problems wouldn't occur as often!! that's not to say that it isnt this person's fault though. of course it is. i just think that it would HELP if people did the necessary research too!!

OK I'm a bird nerd also...get use to it.

I have personally dealt with this type of abuse several times. If you think dogs are hard to bring back from abuse, you haven't seen anything.
YouTube - Albert, a battered and abused budgie.

This is a little closer to me than most, but these people have all my respect.
YouTube - RESCUE THE BIRDS: PARROT RESCUE in CHICAGO (News Clip)

My little Lexus was abused, and kept in a cage that was 1'x1'x1'. That doesn't seem to bad for a parakeet, but look at the size she is in the last pic. I am 6'1", if that will give you an idea.

I walked in, saw her, and brought her home that day. She was so bad that the guy gave her to me for 100 bucks. I would have paid a grand to get her out of that situation.

Her shortly after she came home. This was while she was still in quarantine.

After she regained her strength and I was able to foster her trust in me.

Anyone else have any Fids that they have saved from the jaws of evil.
Crio you don't count, because you are the superstar of finding dogs with problems.

That is an awsome pretty bird!! I like them but cant have any. Im on the go so much I would drive them crazy.. And they cost so much more then what people realize if they care for them right. I couldnt afford it. But I love to look. I have never seen one like this one before. What a nice lookin lady!

Yes, I agree.. I dont understand how people can think this is okay. I dont know why they do this, there has to be something wrong. Like what animal planet wants to do... a show on these people... maybe if you help them... then in turn it helps the animals too. I dont know, worth a try??

She is from southeast Asia, and was hatched in 1996 according to her band.

You are right that they are expensive to care for. Lexus and mini C arent to bad. A 20 lb bag of their feed will last for 6-8 months. Charlie eats a bit more, but he loves carrots, 12 grain toast, cornbread, pretty much anything he sees me eating, he wants.

Bubba will break the bank of some peaple. I order in 100 lbs of his feed from either California, or New Hampshire every 2 months. I also buy fresh bannana, apples, oranges, Carrots, etc. weekly. He is still youg so wastes more then he eats right now.
